Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization's financial and tactical business objectives.

Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing.

Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives.

Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and / or deals.

Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Attention to detail critical.

Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors / omissions corrected.

For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired.

5 plus years relevant work experience.


The business analyst role in the Global Value Services team offers an opportunity to bring together your business acumen, program management and problem-solving skills.

We are looking for a self-starter who is intellectually curious and capable of working with a global network of leaders to develop new processes and tools that link customers’ financial outcomes with Oracle solutions.

The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of business analysts, consultants and technologists that work together to build value deliverables that support Oracle’s sales, business development & customer success organizations.

As a business analyst in the Global Value Services team, your responsibilities will include :

  • Partnering with other sales operations teams to develop processes and tools that support value selling processes
  • Working closely with product marketing, business development, solution architects and sales teams to create and deploy value content
  • Collaborating with global Oracle training teams to develop, enhance and deliver value selling training to sales & business development teams
  • Your Qualifications :

  • Exceptional business problem solving combined with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Skilled at process design and business requirements definition
  • Comfortable with quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Outstanding oral and presentation communication skills
  • Your Experience :

  • Experience of 5+ years as a business analyst or management consultant in a global organization with a demonstrated ability to think strategically
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills to earn trust and influence others
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed stakeholders
  • Prior business operations experience with an enterprise technology company
  • Experience with business intelligence platforms and a high level of proficiency in Excel
