Cloud & Data Center Sales Specialist
The Cloud & Datacenter Sales Specialist is a quota carrying salesperson focused on Omnilogic DataCenter Services and Desktop Virtualization solutions portfolio.
As Cloud & Data Center Sales Specialist you will be responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining SMB customer relationships as well as identifying and communicating with prospective new clients.
This position will report to the Senior Director of the Direct Sales Division.
This position will be located in Otopeni at Omnilogic Data Center premises.
At this level, supports small & medium opportunities
Gains access and manages relationships with senior level technical personnel and decision makers
Demonstrates the value of a product and / or service technology to advance customer’s business objectives
Investigates matters of significance discovered by other product specialists to ensure that appropriate solutions are developed to address current and potential problems
Provides insight and thought leadership to customers concerning applicability of highly complex products and service technologies
Uncovers critical processes and validates operational strengths and challenges within the customer’s environment
Analyzes and applies industry, competitor and market knowledge to positive value of Omnilogic solution
Leverages third party / channel expertise to position the overall value of the Omnilogic DC solution
Advanced level professional, complete understanding of Datacenter technology, and product and services portfolio
Lead winning strategy & new business development
Collaborate with sales and technical team to qualify, win and grow customers
Identifying key enablers for winning targeted business
Ability to understand and anticipate the customer's strategic plan and propose solutions that will meet their needs
Support the marketing team in delivering appropriate marketing campaigns to the customer base.
Omnilogic Data Center :
Omnilogic set-up the first 3 tier data center in Romania within its new Otopeni headquarters. Omnilogic Data Center was designed and built as a dedicated, professional, flexible and secure IT environment, made available exclusively to Omnilogic strategic customers.
The equipment and servers in Omnilogic Data Center are state-of-art, coming from world leaders in the industry. The network infrastructure contains Cisco equipment, network security is provided with Cisco, servers are from Cisco (V-
block capable) IBM, Oracle SUN and HP, storage equipment is from EMC and virtualization is managed with VMWARE.
Omnilogic Data Center provides a secure environment, which minimizes any possible security breach.
Omnilogic provides equipment and server management, their monitoring and remediation of incidents take place in the Omnilogic Data Center 24x365 through its two departments, Help-
Desk and Network Operations Center. The provided services are standard or they can be customized, according to the customer's needs.
Upon request, reports on operations, loading, availability, security threats, incidents, optimizations and other issues requested by the customer can be provided.
Should have technically relevant experience
5+ years of IT experience
2+ years of related Virtualization / Cloud Sales experience
Must be able to collaborate effectively, independently, and with existing sales teams
Able to demonstrate a strong written and oral communications skills, exemplary technical skills, sales situation awareness, and good time management skills
Strong knowledge of technical products, vendors, and families of technologies
Strong technical knowledge of traditional end user computing environments, software distribution
Responsible for building pipeline in Territory
Be able to accurately forecast revenue against Quota
Strong public speaking and presentation skills
The ability to communicate technical concepts into marketable, customer consumable benefits
A passion for identifying new applications and emerging trends for which data center or cloud solutions can play a strategic role
General knowledge of major IT data center & cloud operations, applications, architectures and trends
Demonstrates the ability to act in a decisive, urgent and committed way to achieve results
Solid, current understanding of the company's markets, competitors, customers, products and technology
College degree is preferred.
