    Mission and Team : You will be leading a team that is primarily responsible for the software development and maintenance of an industry leading IoT device management solution as well as the media : scape Virtual PUCK and Room Wizard products from our technology portfolio.

    Our team members range from junior to senior, as well as a test engineer. They are continuously learning new technologies both individually as well as a team.

    Everyone on the team has a voice in the technology directions we take, and opportunities for technology leadership abounds. What you will be doing :

  • You will supervise the Smart & Connected development team in Cluj in terms of recruitment, personal development, performance, motivation
  • You will ensure focus on priorities, meeting objectives and advancing the skills and knowledge of the developers
  • You will act as a coach and provide guidance in Agile practices
  • You will participate in the implementation of an Agile organization
  • You will work in a matrix organization and make sure to work on team goals and objectives together with the functional leaders, report and escalate when needed to the appropriate leaders
  • You will establish cross-group processes and dependencies
  • You will manage the definition, design, development, testing and implementation of new functionality, bug fixes as well as security vulnerability fixes
  • You will apply appropriate methodologies to improve the efficiency and quality of the development process and minimize cost Who you are :
  • You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in a technical or scientific area or similar education
  • You have 2 - 3 years of experience as a team leader, project leader or process leader
  • Constantly learning new technology and working with colleagues who inspire you to develop as an IT professional is something that motivates you
  • You show strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
  • You are able to work with the team and other departments to resolve problems
  • You have organizational and planning skills
  • You like working in cross-cultural situations with colleagues and customers from Europe, North America and Asia
  • You are fluent in English
  • Post-Covid, occasional travel is required to our USA locations (Portland and Grand Rapids) Qualifications :
  • 3 4+ years of working experience designing solutions in C#, Java, C++ or Python
  • Relevant experience in full stack development, databases, networking, operating systems and software architecture design
  • Experience in using Azure DevOps
