We are looking for a Coordinator Transportation Planning to ensure the execution of deliveries to platforms and customers / dealers within the EMEA perimeter (excluding DACH markets).

What you will be doing... Planning and organizing with a strong attention to details is critical as you will manage the entire delivery lifecycle, from initiation to completion.

  • Create shipments and making special shipping arrangements as needed (Express, Fedex, Standard tours )Order and allocate shipments to the right service provider, focusing equally on both : timely delivery and costsDaily carrier management to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipmentsManage routes to meet customer and company expectations;
  • manage distribution and shipment budgets daily Adapt delivery planning to logistic platforms capacityUpdate shipment planning following Order Fulfilment or customer / dealer requests, supervising and fixing shipping errors, whenever needed Anticipate risk factors and works collaboratively with relevant parties to mitigate them, able to co-create solution and persuade when necessary Supervise constantly delivery execution and clearly communicate the progress in a timely manner to all relevant audiences, setting a communication roadmap that includes all relevant partnersTailor message to the audience and commands excellent presentation skills Demonstrate to ability to persuade others through the presentation of analytical data to support positionDevelop a trusted advisor relationship on partner’s side and internally, by pro-active communication and with a solution-oriented mind-set Master communication, being able to go "off script" and communicate a sophisticated concept based on a deep understanding of the topics Able to communicate well with audiences of any size, at any level (both internally and externally) and through different communication channels depending on the situation Hotline management / Customer Satisfaction : checks customer delivery experiences daily Supervise key account metrics relative to logistics and translate them into valuable insights is essential Embrace technology and routinely uses Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint, Social Media, and other Web technologies to provide excellent serviceMaintain and develop a close interaction with Order Fulfillment organization to get early visibility on incoming projectsWith a LEAN mind-set and skills (8 steps, kaizen, etc.

    provide continuous improvement and feedback on recurrent issues by :

  • Keeping a critical eye regarding the processes and escalates the issues faced
  • Ensures pragmatic feedback about quality issues or questions received from the dealers
  • Identifies process issues and elevates for resolution, developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organizedLead, support, and contribute to regional or departmental initiatives without direction, being able to cover multiple roles Ensure compliance to processes and procedures defined at the departments levelMakes himself / herself visible and present including through visits travel may represent up to 30% out of total working time Committed to self-development, updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations Able to share knowledge and offer coaching easily recognizing the need in others, logistics process trainer and mentor for new employees or employee development situations Required skills and competencies :
  • Able to work independently and in a team; decision making skills.
  • Continuous Improvement attitude and skills (LEAN) with a strong work discipline
  • Easily deals with ambiguity and navigates complexity
  • Interpersonal savvy : communicate & network with customers, partners
  • Effective communicator, written and verbal. Able to prioritize thoughts and information before sharing
  • Uses interpersonal communication skills to positively interact with a variety of people
  • Taking timely actions to accomplish objectives and to achieve goals; being proactive
  • Attention to details, customer focus, problem-solving abilities
  • English & a second European language are a must (German, French)
  • IT skills : Microsoft Office, SAP will be a plus
  • Possess minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar work environment
