Main Purpose of Job

We are looking to hire an Associate Partnership and Channel Specialist to support our Translation Productivity business specifically in Channel sales territories and India.

The role requires the individual to be comfortable making outbound new business calls, generating interest and qualifying prospective customers as well as sourcing new sales opportunity through in-

bound lead follow up and outbound calls and emails in order to generate Qualified Leads (SALs) to be passed to the Channel Partners / Sales Team for further development and closure.

The Associate Partnership and Channels Specialist will be required to learn and understand the business issues of industry prospects, correctly position our software as a solution and do so successfully in order to generate high levels of interest from prospects.

In addition, the successful candidate will also contribute to the overall success of the business by contributing to ad-

hoc sales and marketing campaigns, all of which are designed to help the division achieve its Sales and Marketing goals.

Main Duties

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and extensive outbound sales activities but not limited to create a pipeline of interested prospects that can go on to become SALs (Sales Accepted Leads)
  • Route qualified leads (SALs) to the Channel Partners / Sales team for further development and closer.
  • Promptly and successfully act on allocated web and other inbound inquiries within a pre-defined period of time
  • Manage and be responsible for achieving a personal quarterly target as well as contributing to the overall team SAL target
  • Proactively contact and engage with cold / new prospects to introduce / position SDL software as solutions to improve their translation process
  • Support calling campaign exercises to existing customers
  • Works effectively to drive event attendance and calls to action for various marketing campaigns
  • Qualifies / disqualifies new marketing leads, whether inbound or outbound
  • Identifies opportunities to up-sell or cross-sell SDL solutions to existing customers
  • Efficiently routes qualified opportunities to relevant sales person
  • Works effectively with other members of marketing, inside sales and regional sales team

  • 1-2 years relevant experience in a telesales related role within a software company or Language Service Provider
  • Must be a skilled communicator with a dynamic and engaging phone presence who excels in questioning, and listening, to determine the prospect’s needs
  • Exceptional phone manners
  • Intelligent, articulate, high-energy, and self-motivating
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Technical aptitude
  • Ability to interact at ease with mid-level contacts at clients
  • Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Familiarity with B2B social media channels, e.g. LinkedIn
  • Proficiency with contact management solutions (e.g., and Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Disciplined, enthusiastic, and intent focus on attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as within a team
  • Prepared to undertake occasional international travel
