    Purpose of the Role :

    Demand Modeling and IBP Lead will build and lead the Statistical Modeling and Analytics team, while being the liason for the IBP process in MEU.

    The role will have the overall responsibility to develop, deploy and maintain high quality, reliable and sustainable statistics and analytics serving all Supply Chain areas.

    The position requires high level of business acumen and seniority as it dialogues with high level of Integrated Supply Chain and Commercial senior stake holders and requires very strong influencing skills on analytical strategy.

    It will house the strategic solutions and developments in the Statistical Planning area.

    The role reports directly to the Associate Director IBP & Demand Supply Planning.The role can be based in Sofia, Bucharest, Warsaw, Belgrade .

    Responsibilities :

  • Building and leading a group of analytical experts who will provide statistical modeling and predictive analytics solutions to improve supply chain performance.
  • Leads and manages a team of Statistical and Business analysts supporting various areas within Supply Chain from a hub location.

  • Management, mentorship and coaching of Analysts in Modeling COE. Review work of team members with their modeling. Scope major projects to define an appropriate approach to be applied.
  • Act as the go-to person for IBP process for MEU. Liaise with the Global team and BU key stakeholders to make sure IBP guidelines are followed throughout the organization.
  • Support demand planning forecast process from a central standpoint, keeping track of best practices, offering support to Area teams when needed
  • Work with the Supply Chain Leadership Team to coordinate and prioritize issues, projects, and initiatives.
  • Researches and introduces new analytics technology
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-years of experience in FMCG with proven team and data management experience.
  • Appropriate University Graduate Degree.
  • Functional Work Experience (Demand Planning, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Forecasting).
  • Strong knowledge of analytical techniques in statistical modeling and machine learning. Experience in formulating and implementing statistical models.
  • Full Operational knowledge of SAP ECC / APO (preferred) or other Advanced Planning Systems through formal training & experience.
  • Experience with programming software SAS, R, Python would be strong advantage;
  • Data Visualization experience utilizing tools like Tableau, Power BI.
  • High level of Microsoft office package (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills; comfortable around senior management.
  • Strong influencing skills on strategic decisions with senior Leadership Team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including aptitude for mentoring and coaching others
  • Proactive, self-motivated, collaborative and driven to perform at pace
  • Fluent in English.
