The Infrastructure Security Solutions Lead will lead a team dedicated to delivering for the IT Controls (security) programme.
This role sits within the Enterprise and Security Services department which provides engineering and support services for Enterprise, Development and Security toolsets to the organisation.
The Infrastructure Security Solutions Lead will be required to ensure that resource plans for all projects related to the IT Controls programme are up to date and adequately staffed.
The responsibilities of the role will include :
Ensuring all resource plans are up to date and flag any shortfalls to the project manager and Head of Enterprise and Security Services.
Manage a multi-disciplined team to deliver across a range of projects.
Using an agile approach run regular scrums for effective project delivery.
Performance management of your team.
Agile project delivery
Understanding of IT Infrastructure : operating systems, networks and databases
Demonstrated exposure to financial markets and associated technologies
Good Project Management and planning skills, ideally knowledge of Prince 2.
Required technical skills
Use of Jira
IT Infrastructure background
Desirable technical skills
Experience of IT security concepts and standards
Working closely with group project management to ensure that resourcing profiles are clearly understood.
Ensuring the project implementation team adheres to infrastructure security engineering standards.
Change Management adopting best practice from the ITIL framework
Monitor work load, manage time and prioritise requests
Work closely with project delivery teams and third-party suppliers’ teams to resolve problems requiring additional input
Candidate Profile / Key Skills
Experience of managing infrastructure teams and / or projects
Broad knowledge of technologies used in financial datacentre design & architecture
Broad technology base and experience, not vendor specific
Knowledge and practical experience in a number of significant and complex projects, spanning multiple technology platforms
Experience in financial services desirable
Strong client management skills
Good knowledge of ITIL Service Management Framework
Vendor Management Skills
CISSP / CompTIA Security+ certification a plus
