Position Summary :

The Financial Consolidation Systems & Reporting Analyst has a broad scope role, and playing a key part in delivering Garrett Advancing Motion's financial reporting in a timely & accurately manner.

The role manages and utilises the systems that support the US group’s monthly, quarterly and annual Management & External US Financial Reporting, including support for 10-K / Q SEC reporting processes

This role will be part of a small, highly experienced, integrated consolidation team. Key contacts Group Consolidation team, SBG controller / CFO, FPA leadership, internal and external auditors, site reporting staff

Responsibilities : Closing process

Closing process

  • Driving and monitoring the monthly close timetable, assisting reporting units with accurate & timely month end reporting
  • Technical close assistance
  • Preparation of reporting of Corporate units
  • Analytical review of Group Reporting
  • Partnering with other Finance functions - FPA / Tax / Treasury / Statutory / External Reporting / Controllership for ad hoc projects focussing on process improvements for reporting of Actuals and forecasting
  • Systems support

  • Responsible for monitoring of the SAP HFM mapping tool (FDMEE) & maintaining mappings
  • Training support for central finance systems
  • HFM system administration support
  • Continuous improvement of accounting and reporting processes including adoption of automation
  • Liaising with external consultants on application development and with IT on software and application upgrades, including development, design, testing, and documentation

  • You must have :

  • B.S. in Accounting & Professional accounting qualification or QBE
  • 5+ years Finance work experience
  • Good technical accounting skills including good knowledge of complex Group Financial Consolidations and detailed understanding of Financial Reporting (US GAAP)
  • Demonstrated Practical history and ownership of reporting units
