You will be focused on building highly usable, reliable, and scalable software solutions. Solutions that will be at the forefront of handling customer engagements within the company.

You will create sophisticated implementations on both the client and server sides focusing primarily on developing software.

Delivery and Deployment is a part of Akamai's ability to deliver high quality software incrementally and continuously.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for :

Providing subject matter expertise to implement and support our applications

Delivering Full-stack software development to achieve front-end and back-end code in a system oriented environment

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop product capabilities

Designing and implementing REST APIs used by other apps and customers to access core objects and data

Working with our QA to come up with regression tests that cover new changes to our software

Creating new features from scratch, enhance existing features and optimize existing functionality

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will :

Have significant coding experience with Java and additional Python but not essential

Show basic experience with JavaScript and Angular

Demonstrate openness and flexibility to learn new technologies to support full-stack development

Enjoy working with and collaborating with people from across the business and have fluency in English language

Have experience in development using Java (JVM)

Have experience in developing front-end components of enterprise or B2B applications with good understanding of HTML, CSS
