Area Finance Controller-(200001IL)

Responsibilities :

Challenge the current financial environment to explore opportunities for margin enhancement via pricing and cost optimization as well as manage selling and admin costs to ensure appropriate expense productivity goals are achieved.

Provide guidance to the rest of the region business unit.

Manage the monthly region financial consolidation (both the month end close management reporting and forecast process) and provide financial guidance and assistance to the region’s country leadership and financial teams.

Coordinate as appropriate with the financial shared services centers.

Preparation of insightful and influential management reports including monthly and quarterly executive summary commentary related to the regional financial performance.

In addition to directing the financial activities of the region, the position will have responsibility to coach and mentor the region commercial teams to improve the overall effectiveness of financial management.

Actively participates in region wide projects / M&A assessments and support to utilization of sales management and financial applications (i.

e. and Microstrategy)

Maintain and develop a positive finance team environment. Build staff capabilities through programs that improve individual skills and develop improved management and communication (i.

e. cross functional training).

Ability to work with limited direction must be a thinker with strong analytical skills

Evaluate performances of business units and recommend appropriate organization structure and staffing requirements

Requirements :

Formal Education : Undergraduate or Master Degree in Finance / Accounting

CIMA or other professional financial / accounting qualification preferred but not essential

Relevant experience in Accounting or Finance

Experience as a successful Manager of others

Experience working in a multinational reporting environment

Adapts easily to change, can manage in an uncertain environment, ability to maintain composure under pressure and manage multiple tasks with competing interests for time and evolving priorities

Excellent Microsoft Office skills, strong communication skills, and an attention to detail.

Maintain good communication with field and Global / Group / Division / Region management

Proven track record of successfully leading and growing employees and managers.

Proven track record of leading and effectively communicating with staff virtually.

Excellent command of English language
