The Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) is the global supplier of choice enabling the continuous electriﬁcation of powertrain. The hybrid or electrical vehicles are becoming more and more attractive also because the advancement of new battery technology that have higher power and energy density.
As a team leader of our HEV System Test team, you will be involved in testing and validation of those new creative products that work towards our corporate vision : zero-emission mobility.
This involves technical coordination and people management for your team of system test engineers to deliver high quality test solutions for customers from automotive industry.
In Iasi, we are looking for passionate leader, willing to discover and construct the future in mobility by implementing new state of the art functionalities for diﬀerent products (dc / dc, dual battery systems, and inverters) used in the hybridization and electriﬁcation of cars.
As a Team Leader you will :
Ensure technical solutions in your area of responsibility;
Plan and monitor the execution of all activities to meet due dates according to client’s requirements;
Assure interface of the team towards next levels of management and other teams within the department;
Provide technical leadership to team mates through coaching and mentorship;
Track performance, motivation, give & receive feedback, discuss the roadmap and to plan actions if necessary;
Ensure that employee’s competencies and capabilities from your team are at the level required by the job and to facilitate information ﬂow at team level;
Responsible to mentor and / or coach team members, when necessary, on technical topics to obtain expected project results
Ensures that new team members easily get integrated in his / her organization.
Implement working procedures to meet quality standards;
Offers input to direct superior in the definition of the hiring plan for his / her team.
Ensure improvements in your area of expertise, in processes and procedures. What should you prove / be willing to develop?
Situational leadership skills (formal or informal);
More than 5 years of experience in development in the relevant ﬁeld;
Prior experience in a technical leadership position (as an authority or project manager);
Good coordination skills and organizing abilities;
Knowledge of project management principles;
Internally motivated, able to work both independently and in a team environment;
Proﬁciency in using English language;
University degree within area with speciﬁc technical background (e.g. Computer Science, Electronics, Automation & Control);
Overview of the embedded system's components and processes;
Debugging and veriﬁcation skills;
Knowledge of development processes and quality techniques;
Experience in Testing process and techniques, ISTQB certiﬁcation is a plus;
Experience in Test Automation techniques is a plus;
