Job Description

For the Contracting role :

  • Provide legal support on various types of contracts before Accenture commits to enter into business with different clients;
  • Participate in meetings to negotiate the terms and conditions of a contract;
  • Review and draft contracts from confidentiality agreements to consulting services agreements and letters of intent;
  • Perform administrative tasks and other documentation management activities;
  • Assist in the application of tools and processes for other colleagues;
  • Research on contractual terms and conditions or other regulations and identify risks in the business offer;
  • Manage to resolve day to day contract issues;
  • Offer support to business to understand the legal implications and elements involved.
  • For the Contract Management role :

  • Identifies contract management issues and proposes solutions for approval;
  • Independently works at smaller engagements or works within team at a large, complex engagement;
  • Independently applies the contract management tools and techniques to assigned projects;
  • Supports training activities for Contract Management personnel;
  • May provide support to negotiations;
  • Undertake contract drafting;
  • Analyses and interprets the contract provisions;
  • Maintain contract / subcontract compliance in line with Accenture policies and procedures and work with team to resolve issues and escalate to Contract Management supervisor where appropriate;
  • Generate reports required to monitor contract compliance;
  • Actively identify risks and issues in relation to contracts and service delivery;
  • Responsible for ensuring that where Contract Management is deployed, contract compliance is maintained and issues resolved.
  • For the Acquisitions role

  • Support the Merger and Acquisitions, Post Merger Integration, Procurement, Contracting and Contract Management teams;
  • Review, draft and negotiate several types of contractual documents during due diligence and integration phases including : proposals, letters of intent, contract amendments, client agreements, supplier agreements, non-disclosure agreements and other documents relating to various target companies in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and stakeholders’ requirements;
  • Analyze contracts from various jurisdictions including Europe and other regions from North America and identify contract risks by comparing them with Accenture’s contractual rules;
  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders;
  • Supervise lower levels or coordinate small working teams for specific projects, assist to GLN Acquisitions Leads in the coordination of the team and collaborate with other colleagues, coordinators, stakeholders and leadership, track deliverables and perform other duties as required.

  • You are fluent in French & English;
  • You are proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook;
  • You have a Law bachelor’s degree;
  • You have experience in Legal field, with accent on civil and commercial law;
  • You have negotiation skills;
  • You are a team player with good communication skills;
  • You are self-motivated, with a positive attitude and approach;
  • You are able to solve urgent matters and work under pressure;
  • You have work ethics;
  • You are a fast learner.
