Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals.

Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of a new entity within New Consumer Health and your employment would be governed by New Consumer Health’s employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans.

In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.


Location : Bucharest, Romania

Contract : full time, permanent

The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have :

  • Recommending, developing and implementing sales and distribution plans that deliver the required cash generating, profitable growth in the assigned customers through : Distributor Account management : Overseeing Key Account management activities, including development of distribution, assortment and display strategies, sales management and reporting procedures Directing and monitoring distributor’s sales efforts for the key customers Reviewing business results in the key customers and adjusting plans with distributor Tracking trade terms and margins Developing Key Account trade marketing plan in coordination with Business Development Manager, Trade Marketing Manager and the distributor Develop and update sales forecasts for the key customers Monitoring sales plans and adjusting activities and budget spending at the key customers Planning and execution of trade and consumer promotions including budget tracking at the key customers Implementing successful initiatives across the region best practice sharing Implementing J&J way tools and reporting with the dedicated J&J team working inside distributors;
  • Qualifications

    We would love to hear from YOU, if you have :

  • University degree (Economic / Business preferably)
  • 3-6 years of experience in the key account management / distributor coordination / area sales management
  • Exposure to the Balkans regional level would be an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Fluent in English, native in Romanian
  • Sound commercial knowledge and experience matched with sense of urgency
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to build professional credibility and respect with distribution partners
  • High ethical standards, adaptable, curious, entrepreneurial
  • Previous experience in Business Development projects would be a plus
  • Flexible to travel abroad up to 25% of the time
