Job Description - Technical Project Manager (18001FTX) Preferred Qualifications

You will be working for Oracle’s Solution Engineering Hubs, where you will be supporting a dedicated region’s solution engineering field organisation, in a diverse number of ways, ranging from working together with Oracle’s global solution engineering force in qualifying projects and identifying the right project teams for the job, coordinating mixed teams and promoting Oracle’s innovative cloud solutions.

This will give you the opportunity to build basic product knowledge in a wide array of areas, solution engineering acumen and a good commercial sense while working in an international environment.What we offer :

  • Perform resource coordination across multiple teams, departments and time zones
  • Take responsibility for the successful end to end development and delivery of proof of concept projects
  • Produce project plans, work breakdown structure and bill of material documents
  • Track the progress of all participants until the final delivery of the project
  • Provide a single point of contact for our regional counterparts when interacting with our hub
  • Proactively contribute to the internal knowledge management repositories
  • Support in overall internal communications plan & execution
  • Work with the virtual teams across the organisation
  • Organize regular governance meetings with Internal & External Business Partner for your assigned region
  • Promote success stories and re-useable assets throughout the relevant channelsWho you are : We are looking for individuals that match the following profile :
  • Technical / IT education, university degree with a good understanding of IT market and trends
  • Previous experience in managing or at least informally leading projects is mandatory
  • A high-level understanding of cloud computing (different service, deployment, subscription models); preferably prior hands on experience with cloud solutions
  • Understanding and experience with different cloud service models (PaaS, IaaS)
  • Prior hands on experience with at least one Oracle solution (any area)
  • Appreciation of emerging technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent planning & organising skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines with colleagues and internal customers
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects simultaneously

    Detailed Description and Job Requirements Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology / application to client business.

    Facilitation of customer product / application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

    As a Staff Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.

    Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate Oracle product*s strengths, features, benefits, and competitive advantages.

    Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.

    Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.

    3 - 5 years business experience preferred; vendor experience also preferred. 3 years relevant computer applications or database / tools preferred.

    Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Knowledge of system and application design preferred. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
