Ring is hiring a Technical Program Manager to work with a focused team of product managers, engineers, and stakeholders on its products and features, from customer experience to design and implementation.
The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, innovative and a problem solver, who has strong analytical and management skills, and is comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced environment.
You will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and balance customer and business needs with technical constraints.
The successful candidate should have the ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, and deliver them in a successful and timely manner.
Lead the efficient definition and delivery of complex projects, working together with relevant stakeholders across disciplines and levels in the organisation
Maximise resources for the greater good of the organisation.
Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.
Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with changing priorities.
Technical program management experience in a related industry.
Multiple years' experience with agile development methodologies.
Strong track record of software project delivery for large, cross functional, projects.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering) or industry experience equivalent.
Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on projects.
Ability to define scope, and solve problems creatively and practically.
Experience in productisation and shipping of software products (services or consumer electronics).
