Your Role

CIOG is seeking a Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) specialist looking to take the next step in proactive security. Under broad direction the Assistant Director Cyber Threat Analytics is accountable to perform and achieve highly complex protective security work within an integrated workforce.

You will be accountable for providing strategic level specialist and professional expertise relating to the work of different ICT security disciplines.

You will apply your sound knowledge of adversary tactics, techniques, procedures and skills in intelligence analytics tradecraft to produce high quality intelligence products that model and track our adversaries and their cyber operations.

The successful candidate will be provided with ongoing professional development opportunities, including training in intelligence analysis to enable them to technically support a cyber threat intelligence team.

These opportunities will enable the team to deliver timely, relevant, accurate, and actionable threat intelligence products that inform tactical and operational cyber security operations to defend Defence information systems.

As a member of the CTI leadership team, you will be a forward thinking, flexible, strategic operator with strong conceptual, analytical and communication skills.

You will also possess the ability to produce both written and verbal advice to senior management at the highest level. Working independently, you will be responsible for developing, coaching and reviewing individual, team and business performance and will identify opportunities for building team capability and implementing continuous improvement.

You will set work aligned with strategic objectives and communicate expected outcomes.
