What will you contribute?
As a business analyst in the Salesforce Centre of Excellence team at Finastra you'll work within the organization helping to manage, change and plan for the future of the Salesforce application in line with business’s requirements and goals.
As an integral part of the team you'll work with different stakeholders from across the company to develop functionality and services in line with their goals and requirements.
You'll be responsible for understanding the vision of what is required to deliver value to the customer and play a key role in communicating between internal customers, developers and, where appropriate, external parties and acting as a 'translator' to convey how Salesforce can support the organization’s needs.
Responsibilities & Deliverables :
In this role you'll :
Interact with product managers, internal subject matter experts, and end-users to understand and define the key problems, requirements and workflows and to help define solutions
Run requirement gathering workshops, effectively engaging end users to aid definition of solutions
Create detailed functional requirements, workflow diagrams, user stories and acceptance criteria
Collaborate with Technical Architect / Lead on complex business requirements and designs
Work closely with the development team in an Agile SCRUM environment to refine, prioritize and support the development, testing and release of functionality
Create presentations and demos to help train internal teams and hand-over post release knowledge and documentation to support team
Work with third parties / external stakeholders to understand and investigate feedback into the process, function or product provided
For this role you will need :
Experience eliciting and capturing function requirements and managing a story backlog using the Agile methodology and tools
Experience working with Agile development teams to successfully deliver enterprise software products against tight deadlines
Superior analytical, problem-solving, quantitative and critical thinking abilities
Strong attention to detail to ensure features are both functionally complete and meet user experience criteria
Passion for creating customer value through innovative technology solutions
Strong people skills to lead collaboration across functions and organizations
Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate product requirements, especially to Agile development teams
A blend of business and technical savviness
Education & Experience
University degree, preferably in business, information systems, computer science or equivalent experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst in a software development environment
Agile methodology experience strongly preferred
Salesforce experience preferred but not essential
Jira experience preferred but not essential
IBM Blueworks Live experience preferred but not essential
