As a Social Media Specialist you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts.
Actively participate in a wide variety of social media activities such as blogging, community development and management, social bookmarking, online event organization etc.
and should be well connected in the broader social media world. We are looking for a creative colleague that is able to think out of the box, come with interesting ideas and to act in a strategic manner.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant domain required or equivalent work experience;
Excellent knowledge of English Language;
2+ years of social media, viral and word-of-mouth online marketing practices;
Excellent consulting, writing, editing and communication skills, including an engaging written voice;
Deep understanding of social media at the business, technical and implementation level;
Must understand social plug-ins, Facebook, Foursquare, Twitter, Pinterest etc.;
Positive, creative, optimistic with a self-starter attitude and desire to excel at every opportunity;
Sense of humor and out-of-the-ordinary way of thinking;
Efficiency in DTP skills and especially in Photoshop and SEO experience will be considered as an asset;
Good time-management skills;
Great interpersonal and communication skills.
Develop and implement a strategic plan for social and community networking, and efficiently work closely with other departments within the company;
Evaluate our products’ web audiences, understand their needs, and determine when and how to communicate with them;
Develop / manage viral marketing campaigns, and maintain presence on social networks, Facebook, Twitter, and others;
Create, facilitate and participate effectively and authentically in key conversations about the company and its products on blogs and other online social media channels;
Develop and execute a blogging communication strategy, including responses to negative and positive feedback;
Generate buzz and interest in various forms of digital medial such as online videos, blog posts, news articles, images and more;
Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities ( marketing R&D ) demonstrate extensive knowledge of social media and their function;
Report on the effectiveness of social site placement and conversations on the web;
Continually monitor the social media landscape and related trends through seminars, research, blogging, etc;
Assist internal stakeholders to develop social media strategies for key initiatives;
Build, launch and test new products and features;
Develop a set of best practices, recommended rules of engagement, and innovative initiatives for the use of various digital / social / mobile media;
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams.
