By joining Emerson on this position, you will be developing and implementing the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) procedures according to Romanian legislation and internal company rules and procedures.

Through this role we will give you the opportunity to test your skills in a dynamic environment, to learn from our experienced team and grow within our organization.

In this role you will :

  • Coordinate the EHS activities within the organization;
  • Develop and implement the EHS procedures according to Romanian laws and internal company policy;
  • Perform safety& health risk analysis;
  • Determine PPE requirements;
  • Identify EHS training needs, develop and sustain EHS training programs inside the organization;
  • Participate in accident investigations in order to identify causes, take corrective actions and implement prevention procedures;
  • Perform hazard assessment for all jobs and processes an approve all PPE
  • Participate in pre-work activity conference / orientation with contractors / service representative;
  • Maintain the relation with all EHS regulatory agencies;
  • Complete safety review for new projects and equipment and track completion of corrective action;
  • Organize first aid drills and spills drills;
  • Participate to the internal S&H audits / self- assessments and track completion of corrective actions;
  • Complete the annually required environmental self- assessment questionnaire; Participate on the environmental internal audits and track completion of corrective actions.
  • For this role you will need :

  • University engineering degree;
  • 1-3 years of proven experience in EHS activities;
  • Excellent EHS legislation knowledge;
  • Proficiency in English;
  • PC skills : MsOffice, Internet, E-mailers
  • Excellent skills in : communication, collaboration, presentation, action oriented, instill trust
