Act as a leader within the Client Services Department and is pivotal to the smooth running of the business. The Account Director is responsible for the highest level of client relationships, managing the team, building relationships with stakeholders and delivering against budgets and workflows.
The successful candidate should have a proven track record within account handling, have knowledge of industry best-practice and have a strong commercial acumen.
Overall responsibility for managing account team
Attending client and new business meetings where digital / print knowledge expertise is required
Coach and develop team in their role to ensure workflow efficiency and Client satisfaction
Develop a deep understanding of the contractual obligations, commercial arrangements and SLAs and KPI’s
Build relationships with key stakeholders, manage perceptions and expectations
Work with Print Production / Broadcast / Digital teams and Client to explore client business requirements and opportunities, while contributing to the development of innovative solutions that support business objectives
Agree workflow linked to Activity Based Costing for all new accounts
Lead implementation of new services
Resolve client issues / complaints to the satisfaction of main stakeholders
Ensure regular performance evaluation and financial reporting as per agreed recurrence.
Remain informed of developments / competitor activity
5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role
Experience of working in a 360 campaigns coordination role
Experience managing and servicing international accounts in 5+ markets with multiple stakeholders
Experience of running an extended team (5+ members) including resource planning and people management
Experience of budgeting and forecasting
Understanding of financial compliance procedures
Sound technical understanding of Client requirements
Good networking skills
Proven ability to make informed decisions and based on sound knowledge
Capability of working under pressure and to tight deadlines
Fluent oral and written English
Highly organised, customer focused, proactive and possess excellent communication skills with a clear understanding of international brand challenges
