Sales Operations Senior Systems Analyst We are seeking a bright, motivated, analytical, and process-focused Sales Operations Senior Systems Analyst to help us grow our sales operations function.

As a member of Oracle’s Utility Global Business Unit’s high-performing Sales Operations team, you will drive system analysis activities to help our sales organization run effectively and efficiently, and to ensure that UGBU Sales and SaaS-related transactions are processed correctly and expediently by Oracle systems through the full customer lifecycle.

This is a key role that facilitates the smooth operation of UGBU Sales activities through Oracle systems. You will have direct involvement with Sales staff to resolve Opportunity, Quoting, Ordering and Provisioning issues, to work with Oracle Teams to resolve system issues and recommend system enhancements, to proactively monitor UGBU Sales and Cloud data to identify issues and work with appropriate Teams to resolve.

As a result of these activities, makes recommendations for UGBU Sales process changes, and assists with their implementation.

The ideal candidate is a system and data driven professional with prior experience in Sales Operations or Systems Analysis who wants to make an immediate impact in one of Oracle’s largest SaaS businesses.

The Sales Operations Senior Systems Analyst position will be based in Oracle’s India offices. (relocation not offered) Responsibilities

  • Expert on Oracle Sales systems, and understands the business process and data flows between Fusion / Public Cloud, CPQ Jet, Deal Approval System, SPM, and others.
  • Supports Sales Reps, Sales Managers, Sales VPs and Sales Operations staff across the entire Lead to Provisioning cycle with any system-related issue.
  • Works real-time with Oracle Systems support teams to resolve UGBU issues.
  • Designs and implements real-time analytical models using data from multiple systems to identify data quality and system issues.
  • Proactively searches out system and configuration issues missing renewals, territory gaps, pipeline gaps and works with the appropriate Oracle team to resolve.
  • Recommends application and process improvements to both Oracle and UGBU teams
  • Supports the VP of Sales Operations and WW Sales VPs on projects and analysis as needed
  • Maintains data for related Oracle systems and ad-hoc analysis : Functional Product Hierarchy, UGBU Install Base, etc.
  • Required Education and Experience

  • 10-12 years of systems and data analyst work with sales, consulting and / or finance systems in a sales operations or systems analyst role
  • Experience with Oracle Public Cloud (Fusion), CPQ Jet, Deal Approval System (DAS) Understands relationship between Territories, Accounts, Sales Roles, Product eligibility, Functional Product Hierarchy, Opportunities, SPM and others.
  • Experience managing critical projects with aggressive deadlines
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills (nothing is impossible for you in Excel)
  • Advanced data modeling skills Seamlessly merges multiple datasets into concise models with no redundant data, understands the use of Primary & Foreign keys for reference purposes between datasets, organizes output into useful and actionable presentation formats.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills Able to distill complex system and data analysis into easy to action recommendations.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud systems and processes Fusion, Territories, Product Eligibility, SPM, CPQ, DAS
  • Bachelor’s degree from a top university, ideally in Computer Science, Engineering or related field that requires strong analytical skills.
  • Advanced Technical degree preferred

  • Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    Performs budgeting, planning, and analysis activities for sales operations.

    Performs budgeting, planning, and analysis activities for sales operations. Reviews capital expenditures and analyzes sales-related expenses associated with such things as the order pipeline, bookings, revenue forecasting, revenue reporting, sales productivity and goal attainment.

    Performs regular variance analysis for expenses and budgets. Evaluates pricing structures to ensure fit with company objectives.

    Effectively incorporates client delivery schedules and operational changes into future revenue forecasts and revenue timeline considerations.

    Maintains and enhances sales force automation systems, product / service costing models, and margin management tools / systems to effectively monitor and manage revenue / expenses.

    May develop sales quote tools.

    Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years relevant work experience. BS / BA preferred.
