Hasbro SA, based in Delemont Switzerland,manufactures and sells Hasbro toy and games products around theworld. Hasbro European Trading BV ('HET') is Hasbro SA’sdistributor in Europe, which sells to customers in all majorEuropean countries.

Hasbro International Trading BV ('HIT') isHasbro SA's distributor for Direct / FOB sales in Europe. HasbroPoland ('the Company') provides sales and marketing and otherservices to HET and HIT and their customers in Central and EasternEurope ( Customers’).

We are looking for apassionate individual to manager and lead our Sales Team, locatedin 4 CEE countries.

Maintasks :

  • Formulate and recommend andthen execute once approved a commercial and channel strategy thatmaximises HET / HIT sales growth and the return on investment (Terms / JMA / FOB / Channel exclusives / promotional investment) and recommendand implement appropriate accountability and control measures inplace
  • Ensure that HET / HIT approved commercial andchannel strategy is supported by robust channel and accountbusiness plans that reflect Hasbro strategic Brand and portfoliopriorities
  • Provide clarity and accountability to theteam for the execution of the above plans
  • Clearly communicate a vision to the team, clarifying expectationsand responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effectivemodels for analysing Customer profitability
  • Utiliseall relevant EPOS and market data to help formulate business plansand to make effective ranging, commercial and investmentrecommendations
  • Support Consumer Products throughcontinued integration within the sales team and major retailerpitches / events
  • Ensure the sales, and marketingservices teams deliver Brilliant basics
  • o Distributionpoints / data and analysis

    o Forecasting accuracy

    o Meeting and account management disciplines

    o Stock in trade data

    o Promotional database capture and recommendations

    o Clear stock supply, through allocations and reserves tomaximise sales

    o Market data (NPD, Kantar etc)

    o Field marketing support

    o Reserve management

    o CustomerProcess & Ordering cycles

    o SSC support

  • Recommend and secure the right levels of distribution and retailpresence by channel / account for franchise, partner and challengerbrands and secure YOY distribution increases and improvement inFranchise Brand representation and space at retail.
  • Work with the Marketing and Finance Director to lead the planneddeliverables through the local leadership team
  • Communicate closely with the VP Regional Commerce and be a keymember of the Sales Leadership Team (selected markets)
  • Network with other internal European / Global Sales Leaders to sharelearning / best practice
  • This role hasresponsibility for managing a team :

  • Manage and leadthe team to ensure they have the skill sets, resources and supportneeded to deliver in their role and achieve objectives, and thatthey operate in a manner consistent with the Hasbro values :
  • Ensure appropriate quarterly performance conversations takeplace to effectively develop and retain talent to meet current andfuture business needs
  • Make training, coaching ormentoring available to develop talent and improve overallperformance, whilst embracing feedforward / feedback principles, andeffectively deal with any performance issues in a timely manner toensure high standards are maintained
  • Provide guidanceon team objectives and provide constructive feedback on performanceon an on-going basis
  • Lead the team by example : ensuring effective communication, support and recognition is inplace
  • Identify, recruit, retain and developtalent
  • Desirable qualification :

  • Post-graduate degree inSales, Marketing or Business discipline
  • Essentialqualification : Degree level or equivalent
  • A solidtrack record of experience and achievement in a senior commercialleadership role dealing with core retail partners
  • Senior level experience of customer relations in one or more of ourkey customer channels (grocery, toy specialists etc.)
  • An in-depth understanding of marketing, promotions, and retailimpact in a sector where children are the major consumer in thelocal retail landscape
  • Experience in P&Lmanagement
  • Knowledge of trade business terms andcommercial conditions
  • Ability to interact with andinfluence senior management
  • In-depth understanding ofkey developments in the changing retail environment
  • Highly numerate with the ability to analyse complex and sometimesincomplete data and make sound commercial decisions based on thatanalysis
  • Skilled negotiator with the ability tonegotiate at a senior level
  • Excellent verbal reasoningskills, able to influence based on a factual and personal / emotionalbasis with ease
  • Exceptionally developed leadershipbehaviours with a proven track record of being able to inspireothers and lead a large diversified team
  • Commerciallydriven and focused on the achievement of targets and goals, able toinspire others to the same
  • Authentic and credible inleading others and in developing relationships with other seniormanagers and customers
  • Able to inspire a performanceculture in the organisation by creating an environment that doesn’tsettle for second best
  • Good presentation skills
