Computer skills : You will have the ability to learn new IT programmes easily and quickly. You will have excellent IT literacy including Microsoft Office and Outlook.

You must own your own computer and have a reliable internet connection.

For the multimedia project manager, you will have subtitling skills and a background in audio-visual production or translation.

Desirable :

Skills : Fluency in more than one language. Knowledge of, and experience in using CAT technology, particularly XTM and SDL Studio (2009-2019).

Additionally, knowledge of and experience in using MT technology, document engineering, desktop publishing software or project management software.

Education : A degree or master’s degree in translation or language studies, Project Management qualifications or previous experience in a translation industry project management role.


Project managers plan and manage all language projects, making sure they are completed on time and within budget. This may include translation, transcription, document recreation or any other services that Wolfestone offers.

Job details

Combination of remote working and working from Targoviste office.

You will have the option of being a self-employed contractor or an employed staff member.

When working from home, own computer and reliable, secure internet connection required

Initial shifts 9.30-5.30 pm UK time until training completed (1 month), then 8.30am-4.30pm UK time core hours, with earlier and later shifts on a rota (no earlier than 9am RO time and no later than 9pm RO time) please tell us if you could not do an early / late shift.

For Multimedia PM work, weekend work would be needed periodically on a rota basis.

Annual leave entitlement : 20 days + Romanian public holidays where possible (this will be on a rota basis with time in lieu if you need to work on a public holiday)

Key responsibilities :

  • Planning, managing and monitoring multiple projects in all languages
  • Maintaining and managing TMs and glossaries as per client requirements
  • Negotiating with suppliers
  • Coordinating, managing and monitoring suppliers
  • Maintaining effective communication, collaboration and relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Working to production targets, including margins, delivery and client satisfaction
  • Complying with quality assurance and data protection standards
  • Accurately record all required data, including full yet concise project notes, non-conformity reports, etc.
  • Ad hoc recruitment of linguists
  • Assist all departments as and when required.
  • Multimedia PM will also need to prepare SRTs, check subtitles and also edit audio files as part of the job.
