As we intend to expand our market share, we are looking for highly motivated sales personnel with a strong focus on business development and lead generation.
Together with a team of technical experts who support you along the way you will identify prospect clients and drive opportunities from initial contact all the way to contract closure.

Be customer centric
Identify and raise potential customers and cloud computing opportunities
Drive revenue and order-entry in the Americas through consultative selling
Work with Account Managers to grow new business on Microsoft Azure and VMware vCloud with the T-Systems top 400 customers
Work with our partners on joint marketing and go to market efforts in order to generate additional leads
Help build up a sales pipeline and meet or exceed sales targets for cloud portfolio items
Conduct customer presentations, create and articulate value propositions for our offerings
Create customer proposals and coordinate the input given by other teams within the sales cycle
Possess a technical understanding of Microsoft Azure and VMware vCloud with the willingness to educate yourself on the gaps in order to present yourself as a trusted advisor to our clients
Creating and maintaining documentation of sales efforts and opportunities
Actively contribute to the evolution of our Sales team and the cloud portfolio unit
Expect moderate travel
5-10 years technology related sales experience
Direct field experience with medium to enterprise sized clients
Experience selling provider-managed or unmanaged cloud products and services
Strength in customer acquisition and pipeline development
Knowledge of technology trends in the cloud market (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) is a must
A technical background in computer science or related is a plus
Proven track record of success selling usage-driven and reserved cloud services
Extensive customer network
Existing knowledge of Microsoft Azure and / or VMware vCloud and willingness to close gaps
Capability of translating business problems into technical solutions of our portfolio
Experience in building strategic customer and partner relationships
Business background necessary to create business cases, ROI etc.
BA / BS degree preferred
Strong verbal written and communications skills in English
German language is a plus
