RIN Grand Hotel is looking for a dynamic Director of Sales

We are Looking for a Director that knows the Bucharest Market, experience handling both sales & catering in a hotel, has 3-

5 years experience as a Director of Sales in a 200+ room hotel or minimum five years experience in a senior sales role in hospitality.

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow :

  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
  • Previous experience in sales role with the ability to close a sale
  • It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions :

  • Knowledge of local market
  • Strong leadership skills, whereas it is evident that you can effectively manage and motivate a team to perform beyond expectations
  • Strong analytical skills so to understand key business indicators
  • Knowledge of Opera system
  • Business degree, or any relevant qualification, would be advantageous

    As a Director of Sales for RIN Grand Hotel, you would be responsible for leading and directing the development and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans and initiatives to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

    Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards :

  • Prepares Sales Reports and annual Sales & Marketing Plan.
  • Manage sales staff and reservation department to ensure maximum revenue, promotional coverage and marketing opportunities are achieved.
  • Work with sales managers (travel, corporate, events) to ensure understanding of sales strategy and effective implementation of this strategy for the segment.

  • Creating a focus on attracting new business.
  • Achieves room night goals, develops and implement sales action plans
  • Negotiate room rates / packages with corporate clients
  • Attending and contributing to the monthly sales strategy meeting
  • Updating and owning the sales strategy & sales plan with the General Manager.
  • Review and approves any special corporate negotiated rates.
  • Recommend monthly room nights target goals for sales team members.
  • Participate in sales meetings with members of sales team to acquire new business and / or close on business.
  • Recruit, manage, train and develop the Sales team
