Working in Strategy and Transitions provides many opportunities to interact with all levels of leadership, across all functions, and all products lines in the Honeywell Building Technology business, resulting with a direct impact to the Honeywell Building Technology financial performance.
to create detailed project plans, followed by leading the project execution for substantial transitions of Honeywell manufacturing and Distribution sites worldwide.
Transitions include relocating Honeywell factories and distribution centers, establishing new greenfield’ locations, consolidating existing footprint, relocating product lines, and insourcing from the supply base into Honeywell.
Projects may be generated from company acquisitions, divestures, and / or consolidation opportunities. Key success criteria include meeting / exceeding project schedules, meeting internal and external customer metrics, and meeting budget plans.
The Project Manager is accountable to senior leadership that championed the project and to meet the financial targets and project schedules.
These communications include taking responsibility for the success of the project, identifying help needed, and creating confidence during difficult projects.
