Are you ready to help us make the future? We have an opportunity for a EMEA Material Planner to join our Performance Materials & Technologies team from Bucharest.
The EMEAI wide role is part of our Integrated Supply Chain planning team supporting Honeywell’s Fluorine Products business and its portfolio of low global warming potential products.
This position is an exciting opportunity with experience planning across multiple product lines and potential for further development in production scheduling / master scheduling after demonstration of capabilities. Responsibilities :
Responsible for planning and executing supply of materials to meet expected demand and adhere to inventory strategies aligned with global planning team
Works closely together with global supply planner to maintain accuracy in the SAP planning tools, including maintenance of stock transfer and purchase orders and their associated receipts in SAP
Ensure accuracy of material master data and inventory balances
Coordinates bulk (ISO tanks) and packaged product deliveries to customers (including high profile OEMs) on a daily basis to ensure on-time delivery (OTTR) and pro-actively raise flags & organize corrections as required.
Identify root cause and drive correction actions on On-time Delivery and Past due issues
Follows-up on and resolves day to day logistics issues with regard to OEM product shipments, coordinates information flow between our logistic partners, customer service, supply chain and the OEM customer to meet and exceed their delivery performance expectations.
Drive logistics partners to resolve critical delays as well as to organize expedited deliveries in cases where our customers require it.
Coordinates after hours and emergency deliveries for key OEMs on a 24 / 7 basis.
Responsibility for obtaining and completion of all Unloading Facility Reports (UFR) for all ISO and Ton Tanks customers and maintenance on shared location with regular audit checks
Follows up on End of Month and end of quarter deliveries and possible impact on accuracy of sales forecast for the current month
University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Accounting, Business, Transportation or +2 years experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, transportation, logistics, shipment scheduling, inventory control or customer service
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
Ability to work with a variety of people in different departments and from different cultures
Experience with SAP is preferred
Must have a can do attitude with a bias for action
Prior experience where meeting key customer satisfaction metrics is desired.
Ability to analyze problems, prioritize tasks and make decisions within scope of the job.
