We are currently in search of a EDI Senior System Administrator to join our IT-Systems department of the Marquardt Group in our location Sibiu (Romania).
As EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) system administrator you are working within the SAP Competence Center within the Marquardt Group
Responsible for our global EDI-system Axway TSIM for customers and vendors in Europe, North- and Central-America as well as in Asia
You are working on configurations of EDI-connections, further development of our EDI system landscape at Marquardt as well as for standards in operation and daily business in EDI
Analyzing EDI-requirements together with the specialized department are part of your responsibility, this means creation of concepts by gathering all requirements, coordination of implementation and support of Go-Live
Primary technical contact partner for all running EDI-implementation of Marquardt customers and vendors
All First- and Second-Level Support activities are being checked and solved within your area. This includes handling of errors and bug-fixes as well as handling of technical changes in connection with the customers & vendors together
Degree with main focus on computer science, business informatics or a comparable specialization
At least three years of experience in EDI with focus in Automotive area and several successful implemented EDI projects (especially in setup of connections, configuration and mappings)
Knowledge in SAP ERP would be an advantage, especially in modules SD (sales & distribution) & LE (Logistic execution)
Knowledge in Unix / Linux system landscape as well as programming skills in a script language are necessary
Knowledge in EDI converters such as Axway TSIM (or similar products, e.g. Seeburger)
Good knowledge in electronic data formats such as VDA, Odette, ANSI X.12, EDIFACT as well as for the communication protocol OFTP2.
