Global Finance Operations (GFO) provides services to support Oracle’s sales transactions from opportunity through invoice collection including sales compensation administration, across all lines of business and countries globally, while continuously improving the employee and customer experience.
Our team (GTS GFO Technical Solutions) provides expertise, guidance and flexible solutions to meet the changing needs of the organization and supports global projects and initiatives.
The GTS-BI team designs, develops and maintains reporting and data analysis platform for the GFO organization, participates in strategic BI projects, which drive key corporate initiatives by providing timely and valuable insights into business operations, and we cooperate closely with Oracle IT organization to implement latest technologies to enhance and extend our BI solutions portfolio.
Our team is global and we do have members in several countries United States, India, Romania, and Czech Republic.
This role provides BI development support to the GFO organization by enabling advanced custom reporting and data analysis solutions that meet specific business needs.
This includes working with the business to understand their requirements, working with our IT partners to understand existing systems and data sources, identifying and documenting solutions and development on data extraction, transformation, presentation and analysis in various tools and languages.
This role participates on technical projects with focus on improvements, extensions, upgrades of our cloud-based platforms and tools and the implementation and integration of new technologies and tools as required.
Also, this role provides support to existing solutions by managing bug tickets, trouble-shooting and resolving system issues and managing enhancement tickets.
Qualifications / Skills Required
Technical education (Bachelors / Masters in Computer Science) or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience with Relational Databases (Oracle), Data Warehouses, BI middleware and BI presentation tools :
Analysis, Dashboards and Agents design and best practices Data Visualization projects Authentication and Authorization Object level and Data level security Performance Tuning and Optimization

Assists with analyzing complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
As part of a software project implementation team assists in implementing software projects by mapping business processes, producing documentation, establishing acceptance testing criteria.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.
Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving.
Ability to travel as necessary. Prefer 2 years relevant experience and BA / BS degree.
