Our client, a global leading telecommunication vendor is recruiting for a IPTV Back Office Software Engineer to join their business in Romania.
Work utilizing pre-prepared Instruction SETS, Script commands, etc.
Ticket record and solve standard problems.
Interaction with other technicians, customer technical staff and other groups within Service Delivery organization.
Implement solutions / changes based on the work instructions.
Support for Problem and Capacity Management.
LINUX / SQL / application troubleshooting.
Escalate trouble tickets to 3rd level, 3rd parties.
Bachelor degree or equivalent level gained by experience, in Information Technology / Electronics Telecommunications / Data communications Engineering.
Experience with ICT operations and maintenance support is a plus.
Experience in a monitoring environment using a network management system.
Experience in a Network Operations or IT service desk environment.
Good understanding of IT technologies.
LINUX : navigation, system health status, processes, find combinations commands SQL : basic SQL
commands, results of some queries, how to combine / sort tables
IPTV projects knowledge could be a plus
Previous experience in NOC environment could be a plus.
Analytical and incident / problem resolution and prioritization skills
Hands-on, practical approach, know to get things done
Willing to learn and constantly improve technical knowledge.
Discipline on process adherence, reporting and administration.
Fluent Romanian and English (written and spoken)
