Our Silicon Design & Verification business is all about building high-performance silicon chips faster. We’re the world’s leading provider of emulation solutions for designing and verifying advanced silicon chips.

We enable our customers to optimize chips for power, cost, performance and early software bring-up eliminating months off their project schedules.

We are looking for a R&D Engineer to join the emulation software R&D team.

In this role, you will participate in the development of the Flow Automation, to enable seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies into Synopsys emulation tools and platforms.

Key Qualifications :

BE / MTech in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Mandatory expertise :

Strong C++ skills : polymorphism, templates, design patterns.

STL : deep knowledge about various STL data structures

Memory management

Data structures (trees, graphs), algorithms and complexities (time, memory)

Abilities to understand and develop highly scalable and distributed software

Tech-wise skillsDebug / analysisGood / proven technical problem-solving abilitiesExcellent in communication and presentations.

Nice to have

Comfort in Linux development environment

Scripting abilities (bash / perl / python)

Compilers knowledge

Preferred Experience (big plus) :

Previous EDA / hardware compilers experience

Hardware descriptive languages (Verilog / System Verilog / Vhdl)

Good understanding of VLSI design
