Purpose Statement : To provide financial accounting support.

Key Job Accountabilities :

  • Rolls AP, AR and Cash Revaluation. Reconcile general ledger accounts on each period closure (Statutory / US Gaap).
  • Analyze general ledger accounts for accuracy, extraordinary or unusual items and keep low level on old items on allocated accounts.
  • Check, prepare and record accounting documentation daily, trough manual journal entries or using ERP automatic routines for Intercompany accounts.
  • Produce and inform (internal / external) about Intercompany statements on a monthly basis. Keeps communication with buyers on I / C AP / GRN balances where problems incur and helps solve the issues.
  • Estimates EOM I / C balances for AP / AR reporting to the group. Review Intercompany AR / AP invoices and Import / Export documents for customs and VAT related.

  • Ensure the integrity of the data processed, book keeping in time and accurate for Intercompany and related Accounts.
  • Prepare and provide the monthly system reports for SOX compliance requirements for allocated accounts.
  • Ensures compliance with statutory requirements and supports Senior Accountant in month end closure for statutory period for allocated accounts.
  • Rolls AR / AP through automatic ERP routines for daily receivable and payments reported. Propose weekly AP payments (on request if case).
  • Makes sure automated payments run according to the scheduler and notifies the responsible persons for any corrections that might be needed to the address book.

    Assures that on a quarterly basis the payments are made according to the cash management payment plan at the end of the quarter.

    Additional Accountabilities :

  • To ensure that all transactions are conducted in view of the Plexus US accounting framework.
  • To control the Sales and Purchase Ledgers.
  • To prepare the VAT and Intrastate returns.
  • To assist / gather information with advisors in the preparation of the income tax.
  • To assist in ad hoc work as directed by the Site Controller.
  • Acknowledges and complies with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards provided in the procedures and instructions that are specific to each field, documentation that underlies the proper functioning of the integrated management system of quality, environment, safety and occupational health.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Education / Experience Qualifications :

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Two (2) years of related experience is required.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

    Other Qualifications :

  • Computer literate spreadsheets (essential); word processing (preferable);
  • Up to date technical knowledge in the fields of accounting, audit, tax, VAT;
  • Ability to recognize the technical implications (accounting / VAT / tax) of transactions or other events;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Good English level.

  • The work setting should consist of an office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.
