Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following :

  • Defining and establishing a framework, processes and a toolbox for how we work with data migration and data quality
  • Managing and leading your team to execute on the PLM Data Competency Center’s vision. This includes recruiting, mentoring, and the development of individuals on your team.
  • Managing onshore and offshore technology staff.
  • Providing leadership, mentorship, and guiding team’s resources onshore and offshore in architecting, designing, building, documenting, and QA of data migration activities.
  • Organizing the data migration teams’ work.
  • Developing and managing team KPIs.
  • Improving the team’s deliverables quality, efficiency, and capability.
  • Nurturing a fast paced, efficient work culture.
  • Engaging with our clients to analyze their requirements.
  • Evaluating the level of effort required to develop solutions.
  • Leading the team in developing migration tools, documenting their work, and diagnose and resolve problems using debugging tools.
  • Developing quality assurance testing processes.
  • Working alongside your peers in the Design Team and Build Team

    The ideal candidate possesses these skills :

  • 1+ years of people management
  • 5+ years of experience in data integrations
  • Knowledge of data modelling principles
  • Passion about complex data structures and problem solving
  • Ability to pick up new data tools and concepts quickly
  • Excellent communication, written skills, and analytical skills
  • Very good level of English language, spoken and written
  • Leadership Qualifications
  • An ownership mentality and entrepreneurial approach, including comfort with intelligent risk taking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organization and delegation skills.
  • Experience in leading Agile development practices.
  • Ability and experience to consistently deliver on teams’ commitments.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior management, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Verifiable presentation skills, as a confident communicator who is enthusiastic, self-starting and flexible in style and approach.
