Our first stop is in Bucharest, Romania, due to its emerging presence as an epicenter of top technology talent. We’re hiring the Hub Site Leadership team first, which will include leads for each IT discipline : Program / Project Management, Business Analysis, Software Engineering / Development, Architecture and Product Management.

These discipline lead roles will be a crucial and influential part of the success in standing up their discipline methodologies and ways of working across global teams.

The Director, Bucharest Hub Business Analyst Lead will be part of the Bucharest Tech Hub site leadership team and responsible for driving consistency, expertise and excellence across the Business Analyst discipline.

They will manage and facilitate resource allocation of talent in their discipline to programs and projects based on business needs and criteria.

They will be responsible for the development of their program / project management employees’ skillsets to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects that provide business value to the organization, its customers, and end-users.

Key Activities

  • Responsible for setting the vision and building out the Business Analysis discipline in a new site office
  • Provide management and strategic direction to a team of BAs
  • Partner with business leaders to onboard, coach and maintain a high level of expertise in this discipline, set the standard for BA excellence
  • Continually develop multiple business analysts. Coaching and mentoring employees with a goal of developing skillsets, maturing the discipline and identifying training opportunities to retain talent.
  • Ensure consistent processes and ways of working across the BA discipline
  • Manage the supply and demand of BA resources by identifying needs, allocating across projects and programs based on business needs and ensuring accountability and delivery against commitments
  • Own the Agile process inside the team and continually look at ways to improve it
  • Engage multiple roles and stakeholders to facilitate technical discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution
  • Ability and experience to analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement
  • Experience performing data validation and implementing quality control measures to ensure the continued success of programs
  • Help and mentor the team in planning deliverables in order to reach agreed deadlines on time, and at the requested quality
  • Be the main link between resources inside the team and continuously help them improve their efficiency
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate a team of BAs to generate engagement and accountability
  • Collaborate closely with the Hub Site Lead by providing updates and reporting of resource deployment
  • Collaborates with fellow Hub Management Disciplinary Leads (PM, Engineering, Development, Architecture) to best allocate resources based on project needs / scope
  • Partner with Hub Site Lead in establishing and documenting BA ways of working, processes and procedures including Agile practices adoption and overall transformation
  • Attends project meetings as needed, provides recommendations and suggestions to team
  • Directs and monitors work efforts daily & selects appropriate work procedures and approaches to address technical / functional, process and / or people challenges.
  • Provide technical direction to team and ensure adoption of best-practice solutions.
  • Facilitate collaborative system and design sessions with the user community, technical architecture resources, and development resources.
  • Manage internal customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up to date on scope and strategy.
  • Use research and experience to help define and drive application of best practices to business process design.
  • Serve as a functional / domain expert within the Business Analytics capability
  • Maintain an understanding of new and emerging technologies and their potential client applications
  • Evaluate potential software solutions, including off-the-shelf and open source components, and the system architecture to ensure that they meet business requirements.
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
  • Participates in developing department and individual staff goals and objectives
  • Responsible for team hiring, training, performance evaluation / improvement plans and workflow
  • Creates / executes a vision and strategy on how to expand and evolve the Analytics Practice
