Data team is responsible for developing and supporting the bank-wide enterprise data platform. The platform offers the bank’s businesses seamless and secure access to all of the bank’s data.
It provides facilities for building robust data pipelines for batch and real-time ingestion and computing of structured and unstructured data, offers businesses a wide range of advanced tools for developing business solutions on top of the data, and leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning.
YOU ARE
A specialist showing the following skills, knowledge, and experience in
Engineering, taking responsibility for designing, developing, and maintaining data service components (e.g. ingestion and compute) for the in-house data platform
Software development with expertise in Java and Spark
Building enterprise Big Data Applications using Spark, Hadoop, Hive, etc.
Writing high-quality code with full automated unit test coverage (Junit, Mockito, etc.)
Web services (REST, SOAP) and experience in Microservices
Maven, Gradle, and DevOps environments using tools such as Git (Bitbucket), Continuous Integration (Jenkins), and Continuous Deployment (Fastlane)
Code quality tools : Sonar, Fortify, or NexusIQ (as an advantage)
Docker / Kubernetes

Cutting-edge technologies and toolchain in big data to build the bank’s data platform innovating and optimizing the workflows across data ingestion, compute, visualization, exploration, security, metadata management
R&D on new technologies and solutions to improve accessibility, scalability, and efficiency of the data platform
Creation of a blueprint and reference architecture for various data use cases
Cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Implementing the core practice of Agile, leveraging cloud-native architecture pattern using Test Driven Development (TDD), continuous integration / continuous delivery, in an on-premises or public-cloud environment, where everything is automated
