What will your job be about

Full responsibility for technical exchanges and specification releases permitting achieve customer expectations and targets;

Collect customer and market potential about the required customer application together with design engineering / TSS, sales and business development staff;

Collect technical requirements, technical clarification of customer application and provide proposals to the customer for existing and new products;

Foresee and pursue new applications for future carlines;

Establishing and organizing technical plans / targets for internal & external customers, defining product strategy / tactics for result optimization, with the overall objective of maximizing Yazaki’s market share.

Interface with internal and customer development engineers and project managers to define the project schedule for drawings, specifications, technical manuals and other documents.

Evaluate existing solutions with development engineering and define the optimum solution for a product proposal to the customer.

Define together with Customer and Product Engineering the required product validation process for customer acceptance.

Analyze customer information for new RFQs and provide the organization with the information according to Yazaki procedures to drive necessary decision making for project success.

What We Are Looking For

Master degree Mechanical or Electronic Engineering

Professional experience in a related area 2 years

English mandatory / German is a plus

ISO / IATF / VDA 6.3; Quality tools : FMEA; PPAP; APQP;IATF

Willingness to travel

Communication / open minded
