    The LSEG group is truly global, with approx. 5000 worldwide. We have an opportunity for an experienced International Payroll Assistant to join our expanding Global Payroll Team.

    The role forms part of our EMEA and USA Payroll Team and is based in Bucharest. It will report into the European Payroll Supervisor along with one other Payroll Assistant.

    As part of the EMEA and Americas payroll team, working with our global payroll partner ADP, you will be responsible for the end to end processing of London Stock Exchange country payrolls in the European and Americas region.

    Currently the Team are responsible for country Payroll in Romania (c.225 Employees), USA (c.675 Employees / 1350 monthly Payees) and some smaller payrolls (each with less than 30 monthly Payees) : Belgium, Canada, France, Mexico, Netherlands and UAE.

    The candidate will play a key role, ensuring day to day deadlines are met, performing tasks within the end to end process : data gathering, data processing, peer checking, liaising with various third-party vendors, payroll reconciliation, funding and dealing with queries.

    The candidate must be interested in achieving excellence with a focus on our continuous improvement agenda; ensuring processes are as efficient as possible and are documented in full to ensure that we have Business Continuity capability and global resilience.

    Our colleague experience is paramount and as London Stock Exchange Group have recently deployed a Workflow tool globally for all HR matters.

    The candidate will use this workflow tool to receive and complete tasks, manage queries and issues raised so experience of these tools is desired.

    Key Responsibilities

    Maintain a high level of paying employees on time and accuratelyWork Closely with ADP’s In Country Providers to manage the monthly payroll process using their Streamline Payroll Management Tool for all data sharing, payroll tracking and communicationReporting form the HRIS (Workday) to establish and process Employment lifecycle changes such as new joiners, leavers, transfers, salary changes, cost centre changes.

    Reporting from the HRIS (Workday) Personal data changes such as address changes, bank details change etc.Validating and submitting data captured via local Time and Attendance (T&A) modules, including meal tickets for RomaniaProcessing of Salary and Tax Declaration, Tax Dependant Declaration, Health Insurance Dependants Declaration and Tax Exemptions.

    Working with the Global mobility team to process shadow payroll calculations for our International travellers. Liaising with our Reward and Benefits Team to process Group Medical Deductions and Pension contributions.

    Working with the Reward and Benefits Team to manage Company benefits schemesPrepare payments for Income Tax, Social security and Pension providers, liaising with internal Finance teams to ensure timely payments to authorities.

    Month End Reporting for Finance and supporting with Employee queriesManaging Employee queries, updating our knowledge database ensuring best Employee experience

    Candidate Profile / Key Skills

    Knowledge of Smartree, ADP streamline or their local partnersExperience with Workflow tools (ideally ServiceNow)Excellent Excel skillsNumerical skills3-5 years of experience of processing payrolls for France, Romania and USA (ideally at least two of these locations)Ability to focus and prioritizeExperience and interest in continuous improvement and change managementGood English and French communication skills. Strong attention to detail
