About this opportunity
As a Dev-Ops Engineer, you'll operate, maintain, and configure the IT systems providing Connected Vehicle Cloud Services for an Automotive Manufacturer.
You'll need a good level of understanding and experience of Linux servers & environments, networking, and databases. Needs to understand how to use certain technologies, follow the guidelines & be able to resolve issues quickly or collate detailed information and in-depth investigation before raising to other teams or relevant partners.
What you will do
Support and lead entire architecture(Linux Based) for Connected Vehicle Services;
Perform deployments, configurations, and solving on various components;
Guide in the analysis of major incident root cause as needed;
Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform / Cloud Formation / Ansible)
Develop custom scripts for the automation of certain operational tasks and service
You will bring
Experience with Unix / Linux & knowledge of standard Linux tools & scripting languages (e.g Bash, Python);
Experience with RESTful architecture;
Proven experience with microservices-based architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and internet protocols like HTTP, HTPP / 2, RTP, RTCP, RTSP, RTMP, UDP, ARP, ICMP;
Understanding of IP networking and AWS / AZURE cloud infrastructure;
Experience with Git, Terraform, Ansible, GoCD and supporting Cloud environments;
Experience in configuring and maintaining a range of common server applications, such as Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, IIS, SQL, etc.
Delivery Platforms and Apps (IOS, Android, HTML5), ELK stack, F5 BigIP LTM, JMS Brokers, Terraform, and public cloud hosting represent a plus;
Experience in systems automation, configuration management, automated server builds, and monitoring tools. e.g : Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins it is a plus;
