Introduction

Alstom in Romania has been present for over 20 years employing today over 450 people. Alstom, registered major success in infrastructure, signaling and also services.

The long term service agreement for the maintenance of the rolling stock of Metrorex is a major reference and shows the expertise of Alstom in this field.

Alstom will continue to grow his business in Romania proposing further services for the local market and export, creating regional hub in Services and Signaling.

For the new Project in Bulgaria - BDZ we extend our team, with expertise people.

The Logistic Coordinator / Warehouse Manager position, reporting direct to Project Manager will have the following responsibilities :

Manage the stores and material flow, providing technical support to the supply chain in identifying supply chain issues, ensuring parts / materials are provided for maintenance, modification and repair in a timely manner. .

Overview :

  • Manages the Warehouse teams following an accurancy of the stocks of min.99%. E nsure that all stores activities conform to current legislation.
  • Manage the handling team and ensure optimum material flow.
  • Plan, organize and control transport activities
  • Manages the Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) team,following the optimisation of the stock turn and ensure the business is supplied with materials and parts necessary to complete works and projects.

    Implements and follows the administrative procedures in force (the applicables documents and the quality management requirement, the Internal Regulation , the Code of Ethics, safety rules and fire prevention and extinction regulation,company police).

    Experience & Qualification

  • Upper technical education
  • 3 years successful experience Logistics / Purchasing / MRP. Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
  • Computer literacy : Word, Excel, PPT
  • SAP knowledge
  • English language advance
  • Romanian language knowledge will be a plus
