We are looking for someone with excellent understating of cloud native technology landscape. Someone who can understand the problem space really well and figure out the best solution together with the team.
We need someone with strong leadership skills, who is accountable, steer ways of working and technology strategy within organization.
This role focuses on hands-on engineering with some extend to people management.
You will be part of the cloud engineering space at VirtusLab, involved into day to day project work as well as more broad strategic initiatives within the company.
You will ensure that the development processes, architecture, and standards are followed.
Understand the current trends in technology especially cloud-native landscape.
Ability to design complex architecture in public cloud space (Azure, AWS, GCP). Experience with private cloud is a plus.
A proven track of record in working with large organisations, handling multiple stakeholders, effectively dealing with conflict of interest.
Managing and setting up expectations for the team.
Public speaking, good presentation skills.
Understand software development lifecycle and modern software engineering practices.
Leading the team of 3-6 engineers.
Defining technology strategy, development processes, standards and steering direction for the team.
Actively taking part in technical design.
Content writing (white papers, presentations, blog posts, case studies).
Community engagement (hosting and speaking at community events).
