The Fashiondays IT Team is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Product Owner to manage complex and mature products within our Platforms department.
As a Product Owner you will be responsible for managing product life cycle, assessment of the current implementations and potential features, prioritization, development flow and user adoption.
Aside from working closely with the web development team, strong collaboration with mobile team is also a desired outcome of this role, as features will be implemented cross platforms.
Our candidate will excel in working with multiple teams, be customer oriented and have the ability to think both strategically and tactically to meet the deadlines.
Gather and document product requirements, prioritize features, build consensus and coordinate timelines with a team of engineers, designers and peers
Challenge assumptions, estimates, and approaches. Negotiate and prioritize an ever-growing backlog into development cycles in order to meet both business and client's needs.
Handle high-level technical meetings to understand what can be built (dependencies, approach, feasibility high-level cost, data needed to measure success)
Analyze data and make recommendations based on user behavior and patterns; Set KPI’s at the beginning of the project, makes sure implementation includes tracking parameters to help monitor progress, monitor progress
Understand and balance commercial / business needs against technical requirements and capabilities.
Keep track of competitors and proactively identify opportunities and improvements;
Management of stakeholders and their expectations
Help shape and maintain the product roadmap for Fashion Days ; Work closely with other PO’s in the Fashiondays Platform team
Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify and mitigate project risks;
Handle high-level UX / UI meetings to understand how the product will look like / behave
3-5 years experience in a product role (product manager / product owner)
Agile methodologies experience, familiar with Scrum. Backlog prioritization and negotiation skills
Experience working with large, high-traffic websites, preferably e-commerce apps;
Ability to work in an analytical and structured manner;
Agility (working on several projects in parallel) and ability to prioritize
An orientation towards results and the ability to both lead and work in a team; Interpersonal skills, developing collaborative relationship with both tech and business
Ability to understand and discuss business requirements and technical limitations with various stakeholders (development team, marketing team, etc.);
Experience in writing functional specifications;
Experience in creating wireframes and flow diagrams;
Experience with Google Analytics &A / B testing
Excellent good written and verbal English skills;
Familiar with MVP approach for complex projects
OKRs management (breaking large company goals into small achievable targets for early and frequent delivery)
Overall understanding of technologies used in developing an ecommerce product

Previous experience working with large technical systems and multiple teams impacting the same product
