With 16 years of experience in Timisoara, the Vehicle Network and Information - Central Engineering (VNI CE) business unit has a large product portfolio and ensures the comfort, security and safety of passengers in the car.
The most important products we develop are the body controllers, key & keyless access systems, tire pressure monitoring systems with wheel units, control units for doors, trunk, seats, mirrors, headlamps, sunroofs and other comfort devices in the car.
In Timisoara we develop most of these products working for most of the big car manufacturers (Renault & Nissan group, VW group, Volvo, Hyundai, Honda, GM).
Creation of software requirements from assigned areas of the customer;
Derive requirements for interfaces between software components from system and software architecture;
Ensure traceability between system- and software requirements;
Tracking requirement implementation, maturity and test status by appropriate means;
Creation of software requirement engineering plan including definition of project specific attribute usage, definition and documentation of traceability concept;
Verify consistency of cross-functional requirements;
Self-driven clarification of requirements through active communication with customers and internal contact partners;
Analyze and incorporate change requests into the software requirements;
Escalation of technical risks and problems to management and appropriate contact persons;
Continuous identification of improvement possibilities in software requirement engineering process.
A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
Degree in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering or a similar qualification;
Experience in processes, methods and tools in the field of requirements engineering (desirable : DOORs);
Experience in the development of ECUs in the automotive industry;
Experience with Rhapsody is considered a plus;
Good understanding of overall vehicle architectures;
Good English language skills (written and spoken);
Strong analytical and organizational skills;
Independent and result-oriented manner and assertiveness;
Excellent communication skills (communication with hardware, software, logistic experts as well as users) and good presentation and moderation skills;
Good teamwork skills and experience in interdisciplinary teamwork.
