Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications.

Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs.

Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.

BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

The Technical Project Specialist will work with the business organizations on requirements gathering, tools adoption and best practices sharing.

You will work very closely with the development team to ensure we build state of the art, modern tools to simplify sales reps activity in a modern work place.

You will be a mediator between the development team and business organizations and vise-versa.

Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture.

Build new products and execute unit tests and unit test plans.

Acts as the single point of contact for assigned projects. Oversees the scope during the course of the project and collaboratively adjusts scope where necessary ensuring adherence to established project change management process.

From initiation through to completion, the Technical Project Specialist will be responsible for the construction, presentation and signoffs of key deliverables such as Project Kickoffs, Project Plans, Change Orders, regular Status and Risk reports.

They will also facilitate planning sessions at various stages of the project lifecycle. Critical to the success of this role will be the setting and management of customer expectations, in regards to project scope, stakeholder roles and responsibilities, timelines, escalation and change management processes, communication and risk management plans.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical / business skills in area of specialization.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.

Responsibilities include :

  • Plan, manage and communicate the progress of the project, achieving milestones and maintaining momentum.
  • Facilitate resolution of issues and roadblocks.
  • Managing documentation and reports
  • Coordinating with the stakeholders
  • Working closely with the development team
  • Communication to prospective and current stakeholders.
  • Requirements :

  • B.E / B.Tech / MS equivalent must.
  • Experienced & Certified Scrum Master
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Understanding of SDLC
  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience on Oracle development platform and related projects.
  • Ability to build and maintain close relationships with multiple teams and create good working relationships with key people in various roles.
  • Process orientated and open-minded, in a fast changing environment
  • Well-organised and structured, ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Customer and results oriented
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team member
