On this position, you will join the Thales Next Gen IS / IT strategic development. Next Gen IS / IT is a core part of the Thales Group digital transformation.

It aims at supporting Thales competitiveness by strengthening the relationship between businesses and functions. The program leverages agile methods to promote team empowerment while maximizing projects efficiency.

Next Gen IS / IT believes in a progressive approach to achieve a smooth, yet deep transformation of our ways of working in order to :

  • In this context, we are looking for dynamic profiles for End User / Systems Support roles : The End User / System support provide solutions for our employee and / or infrastructure to work seamlessly.

    To do so, they work on delivering suitable endpoint devices (workstations, mobile devices, cell phone), including software and connectivity solutions.

    On a daily basis; the End User / Systems support manages incident troubleshooting and support for both stakeholders satisfaction and business efficiency.


  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related degree, or equivalent directly related experience;
  • A minimum of three years technical (IT) exposure / experience highly favorable, preferably in an operational environment;
  • Knowledge and experience with supporting operating systems, preferably in MS Windows;
  • A Help Desk / Technical Support experience;
  • The ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences;
  • Experience in establishing new processes and procedures as well as following those already in place and always looking for improvements.

  • You have experience with installation, maintenance and support of IT equipment including laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, thin client devices, telecoms equipment and workstations to the required specification;
  • You can coordinate new user access, design operational workflow closely with support groups, and provide knowledge and communication materials;
  • You are able to resolve and debug user problems, and you can capitalize knowledge in the knowledge base.
  • You can train and support help desk for end-user community;
  • You are able to provide technical support / input to site and team projects;
  • You have the ability to gather additional requirements and provide end-user support working closely with end users;
  • You have experience with conducting end user testing;
  • You can maximize the availability of all IT equipment and infrastructure through continuous improvement and proactive, preventive maintenance, using tracking, reporting system and knowledge base.
  • Technical skills

  • You can configure firewalls, modems, switches and other IT assets;
  • You have solid scripting skills (, shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python);
  • You have strong MS Windows Desktop and Server System support experience;
  • You have some Linux / Unix System support experience.
