The Role is delivering 3rd Level Infrastructure Support, at the highest level of support in a three-tiered technical support model responsible for handling the most difficult or advanced problems, can analyze software code and relevant application logs, infrastructure design and implementation function, capacity & Performance (in order to meet service requirements).
All delivered functions are in the IT Software Infrastructure landscape.
You will :
Be responsible for Infrastructure setup;
You will deal with the implementation of the new or enhanced hardware, virtualization platforms, operating systems and monitoring tools based on the requirement specifications;
Ensure physical hardware installation, the integrity of implemented hardware or software patches, updates, and images;
Validate execution steps, Deployment Execution;
Perform capacity and Performance activities;
Generate Optimization recommendations based on analysis and received the forecast;
Continuously efficiency, improvements and automation, and infrastructure delivery;
Generate Requirements Specification when observed for an improvement on the application or an opportunity for a new feature to be introduced;
Build Work Instructions related to the tasks handled, proactively and / or according to manager input and / or direct customer feedback, whenever new software feature is delivered.
To be successful in the role you must have :
Academic degree, minimum on Bachelor level or at least 5 years relevant professional experience in IT environment (in a relevant field such as infrastructure support, datacenter operations and maintenance, IT support);
Excellent social skills in English;
Expertise in Infrastructure hardware (servers, storages, datacenter networking), operating system administration, Operation System based services provided towards application groups;
Virtualization technologies : OpenStack mandatory, VMWare, Oracle, Citrix;
Solid work experience, both from hardware and OS point of view, with servers covering different vendors (HP, Dell, IBM) and OS types (Linux : RedHat and variants, Debian and variants, SUSE, Oracle;
UNIX and variants (HP-UX, IBM AIX, SunOS; Microsoft Windows);
Automation tools : Ansible, Puppet;
Experience in monitoring tools implementation and customization;
Experience with scripting languages (for example Bash, Perl, Python).
