What is the mission of AMD Client Technologist?
Help drive incremental AMD-based Business to Large and Public Sectoraccounts
Provide technical assistance to sales in the design and integration ofcustomer applications using AMD based solutions
Partner with sales in determining possible applications of AMD basedproducts and solutions to meet customer requirements
Provides training to Sales teams to increase their product knowledge,understanding of market, customer behavior and how to differentiate Lenovo inthe market
Partner with other AMD and vendor subject matter experts to build specificcustomer solutions
Analyse vendor product solutions and evaluate product performance based oncustomer needs
Install and test solutions in-house, as required, to ensure successfuldeployments and evaluations
Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutionsthat are aligned with end-user objectives
Provide hands-on, expert-level technical assistance to end-users
Articulate AMD based technology offerings across multiple market verticals
Conduct technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects
Design and manage the execution of evaluation plans to ensure a qualitysolution is delivered
Be a credible subject matter expert to end users on direct and indirectproduct capabilities
Capture a solid understanding of the competitive landscape and clearlyarticulate the technical differentiation and value proposition associated withAMD versus its competitors
Build strong relationships with the Country / Region Sales team & Management
Seed Unit management in conjunction with sales
50% Customer / Business Partner Facing time expected
Position Requirements :
A very high level of technical expertise and project management combinedproven experience in technical consulting and excellent customer facingcommunication skills
PC architecture knowledge and In depth knowledge of current and formeroperating systems (Microsoft, Linux)
Strong communication and presentation skills - You know how to connect withcustomers and have the ability to work at different levels and to managemultiple customer situations
Experience and in-depth knowledge of IT industry required (3-5 years)
Successful experience of working with business customers, partner channel &PC industry
Degree in Information Technology, System Engineering or similar subjects orequivalent work experience
Excellent English skills, outside of Country language
