Job Description

  • Plan & execute growth strategies for AFH channel (including On Premise)
  • Deliver volume, revenue & profit for channel in line with AOP
  • Ensure customer metrics are achieved through negotiation and delivery of joint business plan / RFPs, with follow ups on Annual Agreements
  • Collaborate with support functions (shopper, trade, cat man) to drive excellence in share gains, and execution of customer plans including management of promos and in-store activities.
  • Build strong connectivity with relevant Sector Teams to ensure alignment to ESSA strategies & leveraging best practices
  • Build deep channel understanding to enable strong customer relationships & strong plans
  • Strategically develop customer wiring to ensure maximum return on
  • Build and implement a lead generation plan and establish effective ways of working with the OP Account Reps
  • Develop PEP presence & capture share in priority sub-channels; Identify and capture business opportunities within allocated accounts and for new accounts, including tender processes : Optimization of the assortment and introduction of new products
  • Develop winning team
  • Qualifications / Requirements

  • Proven account management experience, especially within AFH accounts
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial focus has a clear vision and thinks in creative opportunities
  • Proactive approach - drive new categories whilst taking others with him
  • Excellent communication skills successfully engage and influence multiple stakeholders to build strong working relationships internally and externally
  • Analytical skills creates robust analysis and meaningful insights to drive actions and highlight opportunities
  • Strong track record of over-delivery against commercial targets
  • Inspires others the ability to engage and inspire a broad range of stakeholders both through a compilation of compelling and persuasive presentations and ability to deliver.
  • Ability to balance tactical / short term account management decisions, with strategic negotiation and multi-year tender processes,
