We have an opportunity for an Senior Advanced Project Engineer role to join our Honeywell Business Technologies department in Timisoara.

Responsibilities :

  • Understanding of the electronics hardware & embedded products including hands on activities
  • Circuit analysis for tolerance, power, thermal & worst-case analysis etc.
  • Hands-on, integration of electronics from sub-assemblies to complete product with a focus on executing product lifecycle VE and CE productivity improvement
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment across multiple stakeholders comprised of development team offering managing, manufacturing, regulatory, quality, sourcing and management to achieve Fire productivity business goals.
  • Apply the knowledge on relevant industry standards in the area of Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical, Safety requirements for a product.
  • Familiarity with Fire HBT products and market / regulatory products a plus

  • Set up test bench and equipment, HW testing (Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical, Safety testing), System Integration Testing
  • Generate and lead specification generation, to ensure design and test plans are sufficient to meet functional and quality product requirements
  • Analyze technical problems in installed systems in lab, checking its technical resolution and working condition, and fixing the same, if required
  • Perform root cause analysis for failures with CAPA (Corrective Action / Preventive Action)
  • Act as a mentor to expanding team regarding best engineering practices with a deep understanding of electronics and an analytic approach to design and solving problems
  • Influence and drive the program evolution from ideas to final delivery to production
  • Apply and contribute to the improvement of the processes used
  • Understand and mitigate external stakeholder impact on the project.
  • Analysis of risk, and ability to articulate clear escalation request when needed or when project is impacted of materialized risks.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science
  • 5-7 years in experience in NPI, VE / CE, and / or product life cycle management
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment for NPI and product change implementation
  • Experience as a group leader or people manager
  • Experience as a technical expert that is multi-disciplined in understanding, mechanical electrical, or software for system integration with related Hardware
  • Knowledge of some or multiple regulatory standards
  • Understanding of Agile development for Hardware and Software with an understanding of PI planning, sprint planning, and tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to create and present status report when needed, highlighting the impact of external risk factors.
  • Knowledge of Agile metrics and usage of the performance indicators.
  • Previous project management experience is a plus.
