We are EA
We entertain millions of people across the globe with the most amazing and immersive interactive software in the industry.
But making games is complicated. That's why we employ the most creative, passionate people in the industry.
The Challenge Ahead
For development teams looking to increase efficiencies and improve quality of their software, one of the most important places to focus is the software build process.
This is where EA Development Release and Engineering comes in (DRE).
We are looking for a Technology Director(TD) to oversee the technical strategies in the European group. The TD would manage and evolve the roadmap.
You'll work with the strategic direction of evolving the Continuous Integration and Deployment systems for the build systems building games such as FIFA, Battlefield, Need for Speed and many more to come.
Using tools like Infrastructure as Code and advanced Virtualisation.
This is a fun and challenging role demanding at least five years of experience from multiple disciplines within software development and practices.
The role requires lots of interactions and you like doing that. You will negotiate requirements with senior Technical Directors, developing these into detailed backlog items, and then work with the team to ensure they are delivered as forecasted.
You will grow the team's knowledge and yours, working with the group Technical Director and Development Director. You will report into the Development Director for DRE Europe.
