We’re looking for a new member in our local finance team. Get ready to play an active role in ensuring accurate, timely processes and delivery of Global and Local Controlling related activities.

Key job responsibilities :

  • Assistance to Head of BSC and support to Global Technology function;
  • Responsibility for the analysis, consolidation and reporting of the monthly, quarterly and yearly results, primarily technology spend (R&D and engineering costs);
  • Key role in forecasting, budget and planning activities for BSC;
  • Support the business and management team with analysis of data, explanation of variances and resolution of discrepancies, relevant for important decision making.
  • Global Technology Controlling specific activities :

  • Support for month end closing activities;
  • Development and maintenance of controlling and reporting tools (SAP CO, COGNOS, TM1, SAP BW, etc.);
  • Checking the data quality of reporting regional entities, including necessary follow-ups and communication of standards;
  • Consolidation and maintenance of various databases;
  • Design, development and maintainance of forecast models and recurring and ad-hoc reports for management to make data driven decisions;
  • Facilitation of automation processes (standardization of reporting, transfer into Qlikview or other automated reporting tools).
  • BSC Controlling specific activities :

  • Execution of controlling activities for the group reporting of the Romanian legal entity SIG Combibloc Services SRL : Establish and maintain financial reports and business plans;
  • Prepare the financial budget, 5 years plan and mid-term planning; Prepare management reports requested by the local management;
  • Oversee and support month-end closing reporting of cost centers, identify issues, compare with previous year results and projections.

    Desired skills and experience :

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Economics with specialization in Finance and / or further education in the area of Controlling;
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Controlling, Finance;
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in working with SAP -CO, -FI, -PS, SAP Business Warehouse (BW);
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel and Power Point) experience in reporting tools is a plus (e.g. COGNOS and TM1);
  • Advanced English language skills.
